Certified safe bedding
The Oeko-Tex® Association, a group of textile testing institutes, is an independent global certification program for the screening of harmful substances in consumer textiles, with the strictest standards in the world. Companies may achieve STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification after their products have undergone extensive testing for harmful substances, including toxins and irritants. Once their products are certified, these companies are licensed to use the registered STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® label on their products.
Since its inception in 1992, Oeko-Tex® has come to be recognized as the leader in eco-labeling, with over 164,000 certificates issued to more than 14,000 participating companies along the textile chain and over 1 million licensed products. In the U.S., Cuddledown is one of Oeko Tex® oldest partner companies, with all of our pillows, comforters, featherbeds, and most of our fine bedding certified to meet their strict global safety criteria.
The testing required for STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certification is exhaustive, but we put the highest value on quality and safety for our customers.
